Good Morning Naboo, Part 1
I'm usually up and about really early when I'm on duty back on Coruscant. Around 0400 I conduct a physical training session with the security staff and the handmaidens. After the workout routine is done I usually have time to catch Good Morning Naboo (time delayed, of course) over breakfast before work really starts. Coruscant has more than its share of morning fare, but I like to catch up on what's going on at home and see some familiar places and faces.
I never thought I'd be the subject of a Good Morning Naboo interview, but then again I never imagined I'd share a house for a couple months with a Hutt, a Separatist general and an ex-girlfriend either.
[Speaking of her, I wonder if she's put that gift card to good use yet?]
I debated over whether to wear a suit or my dress uniform and ultimately decided to go with the former since I hadn't been representing the Naboo security forces when I appeared on Big Brother: Naboo.
As I waited in the green room for my segment of the show, the host and the producer briefed me on what to expect.
"We're going to ask you some basic questions about your involvement on Big Brother," said host Randi Roice, "such as why you were on the show, what went on behind the scenes that fans of the show would want to know about, advice for anyone out there who'd like to be on reality shows, and so forth."
I nodded at her. "That sounds okay."
She smiled. "Our home audience has also emailed in some questions and we'll put through a few calls."
"Oh?" I said warily. "Are these pre-screened, or...?"
"We'll probably want to ask some questions about the other Naboo contestants, Senator Amidala and Lt. Cmdr. Oneida," said the producer.
"Uh, like what sort of questions?" I asked. "Nothing really personal, right?"
They assured me there'd be no problem. About a minute later I was being ushered onto the set in front of the cameras and the live audience. I belatedly realized that no one had answered my question about the pre-screening of the questions.
I didn't have time to be nervous before the interview began.
To be continued...
Thanks to Lt. Cmdr. Oneida and Army of Cl(one) for supplying questions.
